Chankanaab (a Mayan word meaning “little sea) is located inside Cozumel´s National Marine Park, just 5 miles south of town. Enjoy the beautiful beach park and spend your day either snorkeling or scuba diving while admiring schools of tropical fish, colorful reef and underwater statues. You can also enjoy a meal at one of the several restaurants and bars in the park, stop by the crocodile, manatee, and sea lion shows, swim with dolphins, or perhaps relax with a massage in front of the lagoon that gives the park its name.
The park also has an extensive botanical garden, full size replicas of Mayan ruins, a Tequila tasting area, Snuba and Scuba equipment, Zip lines, hammocks, beach chairs, showers, restrooms, lockers, souvenirs, and free parking.
The park is open Monday through Saturday 8 AM to 4 PM. Adults admission $21.00 USD, Children (3-11 years) $14.00 USD
